Firm founder John S. Berry Sr. and son John S. Berry Jr. are former military service members who fought for our country. John S. Berry Sr. is a Vietnam War veteran and former U.S. Army captain who won the Bronze Star. He is also a Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) graduate.

John S. Berry Jr. was a company commander in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as a platoon leader during Operation Joint Forge in Bosnia.
